As someone who grew up in the church, by the time I got into high school I stopped caring about going to VBS in the summer. I had to go because my parents made me but I had friends who were there too so that made it more fun but I didn’t care to go at that age

VBS lasted maybe 2 summers for me and my siblings till we formed a alliance and told mom we not wit that shit no more. Pops choose our side cause he always thought it was some bs and wasn’t with that church stuff like mom and somehow was able to skip put on it every Sunday . Plus he didn’t have to take us no more.

As your kids get older they gonna figure out what and how much they believe in something even if you tried to force your beliefs on em.
