They just need to give us JJJ for cheap. Him next to KAT would do wonders.

If Memphis makes him available he will garner a ton of interest on the open market as he should, he's an excellent fit and could really help some teams that are already good

I'm not disagreeing with you but if they are near the top, that means those picks will most likely be at the bottom of the draft

What are the chances any of those picks turn out to be good to great players?

This is the point I wanted to make. The only real asset in the trade was the Suns pick. We would have used that pick on a player praying they would be as good as Bane currently is. The other picks are likely late first + 16 this year.

My initial reaction was it’s an over pay but it’s not. Still have the MLE + the 25th pick this year to work with. I like it

Massive overpay by Orlando

They may not be as good but I'm sure they could've got someone like Collin Sexton or Malik Monk for way cheaper

Also this moves signals to me the Grizz are about to blow it up
I agree about the overpay, but with all those picks Memphis might try and use those to make a move on a all star caliber player

I think yall severely underestimate the new CBA and 2nd apron when it comes to roster building and flexibility going forward

Having cheap cost controlled talent is going to be crucial

I know you aren’t telling me this. Lmao.

I’m the guy who has been saying for my Spurs not to blow it going after high priced guys via trade.

You are right about a lot of media members and fans down playing how crazy the penalties are once you hit that second apron though.

Quoted AP and Africa, wasn't responding to you lol

But yeah no doubt, you have to be very careful and mindful, things get tricky real quick

All it really takes is Paolo making an All NBA Team...
.

If you're locked in like that you better be guaranteed at least the conference finals...not a maybe or we might be able to make

Idk if Memphis wanted him or not but I would've absolutely gave up Anthomy Black instead of one of those picks

Admittedly, I'm not as versed in all things salary cap but I also recognize when you have to have a move and strike when you can

Don't let OKC fool you. They are an anomaly. They will break up when it's time to pay everyone
