I've met Ryan in person and seen him in an airport randomly and unless he an actor 24/7, the brother definitely appears to practice what he preaching

Reese has a lot more control over the narrative than she's exercising. Clark could easily look just as bad, but we never hear anything, presumably because she doesn't say anything.

Conforming is one thing, being aware of media is another. Reese must not have any PR help. But if she's simply keeping it real, then she must also be cool with the bad press, because she's essentially allowing it to feed off of her personality.
