Something can be true and still a shot. Ryan thinks RG3 is a coon. That much is clear. He didn't have to answer the question the way he did, but he chose to do that, not because it really added much to the convo, but because he wanted everyone to know RG3 is a coon.

RG3 said what he said, and never considered why his comments might have been problematic because...he's a coon.

The racial shit is the fault of a certain segment of "fans." It really has nothing to do with the players or the people that genuinely support the WNBA. Let's be real, it comes from the same segment of people whose actions are basically destroying this country right now.

If I work for nike, I'm trying to fly them out immediately and give them both a shoe and a promotional campaign for next season.

Even if Caitlyn team is better and shuts them out.... It looks good for the casual fan to tune in and watch what is being promoted as a sports rivalry.... someone earlier mentioned it was the most watched game.. It's too much money to be made to let the racists win..

And this is a hot take I ain't watching either one of them play respectfully....I don't even watch regular NBA ...I just wanna see them be great

I think Ryan mentioning RG3 wife was to try and show a connection between his comments and the lack of perspective not having a Black woman around you can lead to when it comes to things concerning Black women. Thus leading to RG3 to make the comment he made. It's a shot because Ryan Clark already didn't like RG3, but coming from someone else its not a personal shot at all. This is a case of the messenger being seen louder than the message by RG3 when he head what Ryan Clark said.

This is correct, but my point is that Ryan Clark specifically made it a shot. This isn't really debatable. Ryan knew RG3 would respond and then Ryan took that opportunity to tell him how he really felt. He knew what he was doing. lol

Too be clear, I don't have a problem with it. Fuck RG3. I'm just saying, let's not lie and act like Ryan couldn't have made his point just as well without bringing up RG3's wife.
