If you feel that way about your team, why are you trying to act like the Spurs aren't in a different but kinda similar situation?

Anyway, like I said before, I'm curious to see what your team does this off-season. I think if they can find the right player this off-season, they will be right back in the mix. You guys have some talent on that roster, you just need to find another good player or 2..

I think this off-season is gonna be interesting, not just because of the big names moving, but also some good mid tier guys moving and maybe having a chance to move up from mid tier to All Star level

I kinda want the Knicks to win to see the craziness that would ensue. My family and friends up there are super hyped about this run. they haven't been talking cash money shit, they have been more cautiously optimistic

What do you mean about the spurs? Like they are a player away from contention?

i don’t think Miami has a path to contention

They do however have a path to creating a more well rounded young team that’s flexible and that’s what I would prefer

We aren't a player away from contention is what I was trying to say.. I apologize if I confused you..

I think we need a lot more help than folks who don't watch us realize. If we were to trade for Giannis it would only make matters worse and more difficult for the present and future of the franchise.

Teams like OKC and Houston are in a perfect situation to take on a trade for Giannis and it would put them over the top as true championship contenders.


I think Miami isn't too far off from being a viable threat if they can hit on the draft and free agency. They would have to hit big to be a championship contender, but they could be a 2nd round squad if they play their cards correctly in my opinion.

That alone should theoretically put you in contention

But I agree you should focus on bam rather than giannis

I know most would think I'm crazy, but if we did make a big move I would rather do it for Bam over Giannis. He is younger, better deal, and a better shooter. It wouldn't take as much to get him from Miami also.

I think even with the 3 you named being on the roster we still need a lot to be a true championship contender. We still are missing shooting, 3& D wing , and a back up center. Those things (especially a wing defender who can hit 3's) aren't easy to come by when you don't have money or draft picks to trade for them. We literally would gut the team and draft capital to get Giannis and wouldn't be a true championship contender.

Just needs to become a little bit of a better shooter

He’s only 24 so loads of room for getting better

He shot almost 37% from 3 last season on a decent amount of attempts. He isn't trash on defense, can finish and rebound okay, and he isn't soft. plus (like you said) he is only 24 and he is a legit 6'11"

I agree it isn't a question. LMAO. I've had a few adult beverages amigo..LOL

Listen you’re talking to a guy who said santi >>> Naz Reid at some point you don’t have to tell me lol I know

But he’s also a sub 70% FT shooter and a career 34% 3pt shooter

So he just needs to make sure he can bump up his efficiency a bit

I like Santi but I disagree about his defense and rebounding not being bad

I don't think he showed he can really hold up as a backup 5....like he has to exclusively play the 4.

You're offense will be really good with him on the court but defensively it's going to be a disaster
