Bruce number is retired in San Antonio. Pete Maravich number is retired with the Pelicans and he never played for that franchise. LMAO. he technically played for the Jazz because that's the team that left New Orleans. So, why would the Pelicans retire his number?

They did it because he was Important to the NBA franchise in that city
