“Both Donald and Daffy Duck got arrested. Once they had court, Donald got less time than Daffy. You see, Donald is white and was arrested for possession of Cocaine. And Daffy is black and was arrested for possession of Quack”

One thing I try to do, to keep my self, self aware, and hold my self accountable is to continually remind myself.

When people, including me, don’t want to hear the truth. They focus on the delivery. So when someone is telling me something that bothers me a lil.

If I’m more bothered by how they are saying something, than what they are saying. Once I center myself. I really need to give time to what they were telling me.

And allow myself to really comb through it, and figure out why it bothers me.

People only like to hear things that reinforce what they already believe.

When you hear something you innately disagree with it immediately places you off center. People will speak up to disagree with you way quicker than they will to agree.

Yo, I was just thinking randomly. Y’all ever notice that in The Equalizer, regardless of the situation. Denzel’s character always gave the bad guys a choice to do the right or wrong thing.

But the only time he ever in the whole series of movies, goes straight to violence. Is when he dealt with niggaz. Wasn’t no talking no choice, straight to violence.

Never assaulted the person he was trying to save, except when it was a nigga.

They killed his friend and he walked up to the group and told them he was going to kill them all. Then went and got a ride by one of their wives

What's your definition?
Someone who is socially aware of the deck. How it is stacked, how it affects people of color, and how it implicates those that perpetuate it.

And yet, choose to stand on that side when it’s convenient and benefit from it, at the detriment of other black people.

Snoop Dogg essentially

“ even after all this if the election was tomorrow the same ppl would line up to vote the same way
