2026/2027 College Basketball/Prospects Thread

I can see the shades of Harden in his game, BUT he will really really really need to improve his shooting to come anywhere close to that. Harden in his freshman year shot over 40% from three and was getting to the line at higher frequency.

I can already tell as time goes on, Harden’s career is going to become very underrated. Idk, I guess winners write history. Same shit has happened to Wilt, smh.

I’m getting there
Nice. Dont get me wrong, i have my concerns, @southsil4lil and i went over them a few pages back. But one thing is for sure, his main skill set, he seems to be elite at that. That will get him on the floor and give him playing time to round out the other parts of his game.

I have him maybe 5 or 6 on my big board. Definitely behind Maluach.

I’m biased against scoring guards of a certain size lol

Love seeing guys like Will Riley and Boogie Fland dropping to the late first in these mocks. Didn’t think we could get either without sacrificing assets early in the year. Traore nose diving as well lol

It’s possible depending on what that NIL money looking like. A lot of kids stay because they get paid more in NIL than they would in the NBA.

Just looked up that the number 1 pick in 2024 had a $12m/year salary. I’d bet Flagg could get more than that in NIL. There’s really no incentive to go to the NBA anymore, you can get all the same financial benefits in college if you high profile enough. Plus the game isn’t as fun in the NBA as it is in college. Those rivalries and campus life is fun.

His endorsements would trump NIL on top of that $12 mil though
