What Killed Dancing In The Club?

Music has changed it as well. Cause a couple years ago my nigga took us to a disco spot and it was pure vibes and gyal. I'm talking girls dancing on everytable. Literally right across the street from a club that played hiphop filled with niggas in pooh shiestys and grabba all over the floor.

The vibe of the music these kids like nowadays is low frequency and nefarious af.

So Sunday my sister has a brunch at this place that was ridiculously over the top.... It Was for her 50th.... They had a DJ....

The club done turned into a fashion show.

Nobody wanna sweat out their braids, hair or clothes.

Drugs are too strong.

People too sensitive and can’t handle rejection.

Definitely the whole getting sections, the mentality of trying to be seen vs trying to go have fun and break a sweat. I don't remember really having my phone out and videoing ppl while at the club in my 20s. Like we got excited when our song came on.

Now it seems like a group karaoke event and everyone just stand around and recite the lyrics...I can do that shit at home. But I really have no context as I haven't been at the club since like 2020 pre pandemic.

But yeah if you going to a 18/21 and older spot I am sure for anybody in they 30's it's not fun.

I was at a cigar lounge a few years back and that shit turned into a club at like 10/11pm. I felt so old . The songs they was playing I didn't know and it wasn't no dancing. But it was thick in there.


Idk something about the nightclub scene...I wore that shit out in my 20s. I was trying to hold on to my club life after 30 but little shit would irritate me lol.
