When Fauci was publicly saying the leak was a conspiracy all the virologists in his email chain who behind the scenes were worried it was lab leak ended up drafting a paper saying it was natural origin.

Turns out all those scientists involved with the paper had a conflict of interest with EcoHealth Alliance.

EcoHealth Alliance is the group that nih later admitted they were funding to conduct gain of function research ie lab research enhancing viruses.

Fauci said he didn't know (incompetence?) even tho he approves ALL funding. Ecohealths Peter Dazsak showed receipts that Fauci did in fact know. Wasn't until recently (after Dazsak testimony) that Biden administration completely halted any funding to EcoHealth.
