The kick off the stage wasn't the video they leaked. The kick off the stage happened later down the line, it started fucking with him. He eventually addressed his hypocrisy on a track. That be the difference with Kendrick. Most the stuff people try to call him on he's already called himself on.

I won’t say I like the new joint more but it’s definitely icing on the cake. Then again this is off one listen.

I like the picture he painted before he addressed Drake

Basically he was explaining what his own life is like, since niggas was snooping around looking for dirt but couldn't find it. He's actually living and enjoying life, true peace. He gets to sleep knowing that his conscience is good.
 
Contrast that to what Drake's life must be like, full of lies and deceit. Corruption and backstabbers around him but he can't see it.

When your life is solely about money who can you trust? He's lonely now because his team has been compromised.


Euphoria is better but this is dope from a story telling perspective. Kendrick is fantastic writer

don’t get me wrong i love lyrical emcees and i love deciphering shit and catching all the lines and metaphors

but i don’t expect most ppl to know or care about that shit, and why should they?

lol I'm thinking the same thing. This thread is like bizarro world to me. This diss is a cool track but didn't feel like he threw too many hard shots. The other one probably wasn't as good a track to just chill and listen to, but was much more focused and hard hitting from a diss standpoint.

Exactly. I like them both but Euphoria is definitely the more hard hitting track. This one is just twisting the knife in the wound which is cool lol
 
The same way folks are running with Kendrick letting her say it is the same thing folks doing with the black face awareness campaign Drake did



I will say this, ALL RAPPERS let their majority white fans at any concert say that word. ALL OF THEM.

I never seen a concert get stopped by a big time arts when they see the entire crowd singing along

Didn't Kendrick basically call out a white chick in the crowd for saying the word at one of his concerts? Personally, I thought that was kinda corny, but he did it.

What bias? I've given Kendrick props and even debunked a bullshit post about him and that white girl saying nigga. You're acting like any response other than saying it's perfect is wrong. Like niggas is obligated to agree with you. I never said thats what Euphoria was all about. Maybe hide your bias a bit better and stop posting like you're the OVO leak in Drake camp
