Again, it’s because like I said, they’re trying to move many of the movies that come out from being so traditionally masculine. Blade is supposed to be about a black man, killing vampires and doing so in a very cold almost autistic like way. Not quite like the terminator, but something sort of close. With a little bit of coolness to him. They was trying to make this dude like fifth on the depth chart of his own movie.

The movie has had different writers get fired throughout the process so I don't give a shit what the initial layout of what the film was gonna be.
 
Different writers came and went... all got fired cause they all had a Blade story that was completely ass and was tryin to "do something different"

What they are doing now should have always been the move.

Nah. You only say this cause we know these types of behind the scene details. You'd be surprised how many films from Marvel have dealt with these issues. Iron Man was in development hell, especially from a writing standpoint and look how that came out.

Another thing is just cause this was announced in 2019 doesn't mean they immediately started working on it. The first writer was announced in 2021

Only reason I'm saying this is Mahershala ain't getting no younger. I'm just hoping he don't get disgruntled for the wait and quit. I want this to succeed.
 
I'm pretty sure the Kang shit with ol boy affecting all of this. Their fault in putting him in an ant man movie looking so bleak.
 
Ironman was the start of the universe there was a ton riding on that film. Blade only became a thing because Ali brought up the character. They had no plans to use him much less the darker midnight son type characters. WWolf by night has never been spoken of again since it's release. Moonknight? Black Knight from Eternals? All these characters and the ones within those projects have been completely buried.

They have to release Blade because they've already burned enough money trying to get it off the ground.

They're doing a Midnight Sons film. Wolf by Night was just a year and a half ago. Seriously, Ironman, what are you doing fam lol. You've become completely irrational when it comes to Marvel
