Because that was traveling back then.

You didn't get the extra step unless you were dribbling.

That's a good example of how much it's changes. No euro step = harder to make moves. And that's how the game was played.
Cause a euro was considered a hop, as it should be, and a hop constitutes two steps. Just gone hop and which instinctually, most people would assume is a one step gather, they leap for a block and you hop past them.

When manu was doing it, he was taking liberties but it still was authentic to what they begin to allow. Nowadays it’s just like, it’s the same thing flopping started to be. It got so over exaggerated and became so common, they like ehh. If you call it here you gotta call it every where.

Plus it makes it easier to officiate desired outcomes when you have gray area at your discretion. It can be a travel or a non foul when you want to be in the right moment. Whole thing just nasty really

I mean dudes in the league openly express it

No

The euro is still the same two steps you used to take doing the layup line. Instead of going at an angle to the basket, the euro has allowed you to avoid the defender putting them in a position to where they have to decide how they want to guard you

~why did I just explain this

Aight b, you obviously don’t know what exaggerated means

A.I carried but it was fluid, hot sauce exaggerated and most of what he would do would be obvious calls. They called A.I when they wanted to, to make points and it would be the right call, but they didn’t allowed exaggerated ball handles. They do now, and it’s just like..fuck it, it’s in the spirit of the rules.

Eh, a carry is your hand under the ball, even if it's for a sec. It's not a natural move like hand on top of the ball dribbling.

AI hand would be on the side or under the ball to freeze the defender to go one way while he went the opposite.

Also, the NBA gets a gather step so technically, they get 3 steps

Lol…I make a point, niggaz be like, that don’t happen, I provide proof, niggaz be like yea and so what if it happens what’s the big deal?

Seems about right

lol…time and time again, that’s why sometimes I be like, ion even care anymore

LMAO, this nigga don't hoop :hahaha:

Actually played up to high school. Got cut in high school 'cause I was suddenly too short for the position I played (forward). Tried to walk-on in college but despite the fact that I could grab boards against 6'9" tall players, me being 6'1" tall meant I should have been playing point guard but I ain't have handles like that.
