You said since the summer. So basically no matter what just trade him? Got it.
Yes because in the summer he was coming off of averaging 25ppg and having ppl think he could be a leading guy on a mid tier team

Now he averaging the same numbers as Tyler Herro and deferring to cam thomas and being the 4th leading scorer on national games against the lakers

Why are you confusedddddd

I can’t understand it for you. Maybe because it’s me and we have a history but maybe if it came from someone else you’d get it.
You a nets fan and your perspective is different because of it

You only know disappointment and being mid

look how old you were when you saw the nets in the finals

Listen to me man

The kind of players the Nets want actually want to play with Bridges. A guy like Simons ehh, Lillard wanted to get away from him and the Nets were one of his choices partly because of Bridges.

-The team is not in a position to tank due to not owning their own picks. By tanking they’d be giving the Rockets free lottery picks. Are we clear so far?

-So they’ve decided to try and be as competitive as possible despite having limited resources. Which means trying to compete for a play in spot and hoping things break their way? Got it?

-They hope to flip other pieces on the team for more veterans to build around Mikal, Cam T and Claxton while also hoping that a few of the young guys (Jalen Wilson, Whitehead etc) pans out and become at the minimum rotation players if not stars.

-Stem the tide for a few more years, see where they are by 2027 and go from there.
The rockets are not a threat to them man

Them not wanting to tank to avoid giving free picks sounds silly

Maybe if @Sage Wonder still posted here and explained it to you. Coming from me it’s never gonna happen lol.
I don’t need fans of a mediocre organization trying to explain a mediocre mindset to me

I’m trying to elevate your thinking but you won’t accept it

Explain to me like I’m 5 years old the benefits of tanking only for another team to swap the picks? Say we get the number 1 pick and Houston has the 19th pick. How does that benefit the Nets? Go.

I dont disagree with anything your saying.

All I'll say is I hope your GM aint thinking about how can we not give the Rockets a good pick and thinking about doing whats better for the Nets' future.
