For me, Meek is outside the bubble of when I was really a fan. I still love hip hop and music, but Meeks run was around the time new shit stopped connecting with me.

But Thought, Sigel, Free, the whole State Prop. I felt those mfers.

As someone in the older generation, I still resonate with Meek more than I did with BT. BT was around in a time where every nigga with a nappy beard could rhyme nice. He never stood out to me tho I can't appreciate he is a very nice MC

Meek stood out to me. He still does. He's a throw back to the street MC. And he has hella slick lines and bars. His energy infectious. He's a no brainer as a standard bearer for the city
