And that's part of the reason I left SE Michigan. That last winter we were there (02/03) was some straight up bullshit. Temps below zero, arctic winds coming from the north and shit making it even worse. I had to go to Meijer once and actually circled the parking lot for 15 minutes waiting for a spot to open up close to one of the doors and halfway to the door I contemplated going back to my car 'cause enduring that level of cold for those brief moments seriously wasn't worth it.

Fuck that.

Not saying I dont believe in climate change but I dont get why yall scream this shit everytime its bad weather somewhere. That's not how it works.

In late 2000 or early 2001 the snow was so fuckin bad I remember looking out at the parking lot at around 3pm when it first started snowing that day and thinking "Eh, just some flurries, nothing to get worried about" to looking out again at 4pm and the snow was up to the top of my wheel arches to all of us getting off at 5pm and having to dig our cars out with out hands and shit. My ride had snow covering half the driver's side window. I genuinely contemplated going back into the office and calling a cab or catching the freight and just leaving my car there overnight.

Back when I was in high school, Detroit Public Schools wouldn't call a snow day until the shit hit zero degrees. Them niggas had us walking and catching the freight to school in 2 degrees with wind chills in the negative teens and shit. My ass had to walk a half mile or so just to get to the bus stop over on Livernois and the goddamned city busses were ALWAYS late as fuck or sometimes just didn't come so we out there freezin our asses off waiting for a bus that would get there when the driver felt like getting there if it showed up at all.
