Again, who makes decisions based on Twitter polls?! 😂

They are probably the least scientific polls in the world, especially Elon’s. His respondents are going to be heavily weighted to those who agree with him, which as of late are alt-right conservatives.

In addition, they can’t be trusted as objective because he owns the platform on which they are taken. He can make the results whatever he wants.

Bottom line is that Elon is using these stupid polls to deflect responsibility for his own decisions. That’s a very bad leadership quality.

Yall gotta stop thinking like this. Cause twitter is the fastest way for news to disseminate in 2022. Ive never had a twitter account ever. And even I get news from twitter. Even if I dont go on twitter, the places I get my news from uses twitter as a source.

Theres a lot more to twitter than the back and forth with folk.

Having a mfer control a news source like twitter is a clear danger

I don't have a twitter account but that app do get news fast and it also helps put the word out when something is happening to black people. Where did you hear Breonna Taylor and George Floyd news from first. The regular news wasn't reporting on these situations at all before twitter got the word out.

It dont matter how we got news before twitter. What matters is where we get news now.

Ill give you an example. America wants to ban tik tok. And contrery to popular belief, its not because China gets data from some random ass folks. Its because China gets to control the algorithm that suggests what people are seeing. That gives them a ton of control over propaganda and pushing their agenda.

Twitter is the same, but much bigger for news.

Again, if twitter goes away today, then we're good.

But at this moment, we stuck with twitter being under the control of a man that has a very specific agenda.

You can downplay it all you want, but the shit is dangerous.

Ofcourse I do.

We already see the damage murdoch owning Fox did to America. And this will only grow.

EOD, everythjng is owned by someone. But Bezos owns the Washington Post, and by all accounts hes very hands off.

Every news source has a leaning, but most try to have some level of unbiased journalism. Twitter at the moment does not. Its being ran on what Musk wants and believes, which btw, is just anti workers rights. Thats where all this stems from
