Ya'll don't even be skipping a beat though. To take each and every opportunity to use that word solves nothing. And it's a purely derogatory term at that. It doesn't have a proper use, but ya'll use it like it's a light thing to describe another black person, but not even the ones who help further push negative stereotypes of us. In doing so, you yourself 'going against' black people. And you doing it in two directions because you not thinking about those of us who may not agree with using it to describe our own.
