The Official MCU Thread

I expect the rest of Phase 6 to be announced at D23. Deadpool 3, cast of F4, X-Men talk. Teaser trailer for Quantumania, official trailer for Wakanda Forever, teaser trailer for Secret Invasion maybe

I think they might hold off the FF4 cast til CC next year.

That D23 joint is only like a month and some change away and I don't think I've even seen a rumor about the cast.

Plus with all the anticipation about since the Fox deal. Announcing the cast at 2023 CC then dropping the teaser/trailer at 2024 CC. would be back-to-back-to back "drop the mic" moments for them.

They might try to save the REALLY good shit for their own event instead of ComicCon

Is it just me or is the time between these phases shorter? They're talking getting through phase 5 and 6 within a little over 3 years. That's alot of content to produce in short time
That was always the plan after Endgame ended. Feige mentioned there will not be anymore drawn out 10 year type sagas anymore.

🤔I'm........not entirely mad at this take
It wasn't meant to be a hot take or anything but these shows for the most part aren't forced to condense nearly as much compared to the movies.

I've found that an 8ep series knows it doesn't have any ep to waste with the story.

Licensing issues aside, imagine the infinity saga story told over the course of a couple of seasons with 10-12 eps a piece vs two movies almost 6 hrs total

I wish these shows were 8 episodes instead of 6

I was explaining to one of my friends that this entire concept is why the Arrowverse was so successful vs the DCEU movies. The shows were able to tell longer arcs over time and leave enough easter eggs in each show that each year the crossovers essentially ended up being a free movie on tv. That's one of the strengths of the build up to Endgame being so drawn out vs everything in Phase 4 feeling rushed when it comes to the movies.
