Wishful thinking on you and Boston fans part but he ain't gonna get 5 more inches on his vert. He's not gonna get faster or quicker. He can add some strength.
He is a 6'10 soft wing who is not quick to take smaller players who get in his grille of the dribble. Not a special sharp shooter to shoot over the top of samller players in his grille.
He can't finish strong at the rim cuz he can't explode vertically.
Here's a stat for you and the cheapseats. Tatum was top 5 in missed layups and dunks around the rim in the regular season. He finished around 35 percent on 2s in the finals and the playoffs.
I'm giving you staright up great analysis. Take it how you want but Tatum is who he is as a player and for him to maximize whatever he has left to improve in his game Tatum will need a true PG not flopping as Smart.
The less Tatum has the ball on his hands and has to create the better,
