2021/22 NBA Season Thread

Tonight’s prediction:

I got us losing a close one tonight, If Sexton wasn’t up for a contract I think he could’ve come back, he’s owned the Nets. It will be tough not having Jarrett Allen as well. We’ll beat the Hornets for the 8th seed. If we have to face the Hawks it’s a toss up, that’ll be a tough match up for us mainly due to the absence of Jarret Allen.

Getting the heat in the 1st round would put us in the best position to advance. We’ve OWNED the heat this year.

He did bench him for a few games in 4th quarters. But fans and media were the main ones.

No I don't mean sit him for 5 minutes I mean taking him out of the starting line up.

And what does fans and media throwing him under the bus have to do with him throwing Vogel under the bus?

Why y'all acting like the Sixers weren't missing 30 million dollars worth of player earlier in the season? Why y'all acting like anyone thought Maxey would be THIS good this year? Why y'all acting like the only games Embiid missed weren't because of Covid? Why y'all acting like Embiid's coach isn't Glen Rivers? Why y'all acting like Embiid's team doesn't have a better record(since that counts)? Why y'all reasons so frivolous? "I don't want Embiid to win because the media gave it to him too early!" As if they don't pick front runners early every year. Why y'all pick this year of all years to go Ja Morant in the paint with the hate for Embiid? I would say it's the Philly bias on this site(it's obvious from the posters to anything that comes from anyone out the city), but I think it’s deeper than that.

I cant speak for anyone else, but I always liked Embiid and rooted for him from day 1.

I just think Giannis and Jokic deserve MVP more.

0 to do with Embiid hate or Sixers hate.

Philly aint the fan base that I expected would cry over some "media dont like us" shit though.

Hope this dont become a thing.

Yall mans had the 3rd best season this season. It is what it is.

Lol bruh these motherfuckers all over the internet crying because the MVP ballots are already in and Embiid already loss.

And I am like bruh, ya man is 3rd, it'll be alright.

These dudes acting like Yoke and Giannis didn't dominate as much and even better than Embiid.
