I regularly talk with my younger cousins about how they are doing in middle and high school (trying to drop some knowledge to be better) and they let me know how its going with great detail because they can trust me and not get judged

But I didnt take into account white folks.

I watched quite a few of the show and that is not what even 20% of high school students do or see. If so then the world is fucked.

My wife and I watched the first season and the special they did on Zendaya character. People are more than likely exaggerating but at the same time a lot shit in that show is more than likely happening at a higher rate than we know.

When I see mixed high school shows and movies I just watch the shit with no sense of how real it might be because I didn't go to school with any white people really until college. Elementary had 2 white kids and neither of them graduated, junior high no white kids, high school 1 white kid and I don't think he finished freshmen yr.

Bruh. The videos and comments im seeing with 100K-200K-500K likes about this is how High School really is are crazy.

Yea we was having sex and doing a few drugs here and there. But the young folks are saying this is an accurate account of High School is lies.
What are you specifically comparing in the show to real life high school?

Are you accounting for being from a completely different generation, the more open accepting of lbgtq people, it being a what seems like a majority white high school?

I can say that it ain't what I experienced or why my kids and nieces and nephews experiencing now. I just know things have changed but to the extent of that change for most I can't say.

This. High school experiences seemed to have change quite a bit from decade to decade.

Why across America is folks saying Euphoria is an accurate portrayal of how highs school is.

Because no it the fuck ain’t.

That shit is exaggerating on the highest level.
We aren't in highschool currently and sure there's definite Hollywood lights involved but the increase in drug usage is real. My old highschool stayed in fuckery just a couple years ago before the principal finally got fired for allowing so much shit to happen. It's out there unfortunately

Yall just taking the wrong things out of it. Zendaya's character is a drug addict and that's skewing your perspective of the show.

The relatable shit is in the interpersonal relationships, family lives, pressures, anxieties, depression, etc. that this generation feels and sees reflected in the characters on the show. Its deeper than just drugs and sex.

Would saying and your only care for blacks (us). Like buy black and help black only fall under conservative thinking?
