My daughter's bedroom floor is a sea of books

finally got my flower beds done for the winter.

After much thought I decided to use rubber mulch.

The shit is not cheap but man that shit looks so good and it's supposed to last for like 12 yrs or some shit.

just in case any of you are wondering...rubber mulch is made from recycled tires.

Whatever dye that is used is environmental friendly and after one brief rain, it didnt run which you cant say the same for traditional mulch.

This is the same stuff being put on more playgrounds these days

How do you dispose of it or know when it needs to be replaced?

Does the runoff affect the plants?

me being me, I'd prolly go with cedar 'cause I like the way it smells, especially after it rains. But having to redo it more frequently would be a pain in the ass.

i honestly never considered it cause the shit supposed to last for 12 years and I'll be long gone by then LMAO

but you do raise a valid concern. I'm gonna google to see.

I only plan on having those bushes. I thought and thought and thought about adding some plants for color but i rather put my time to other use instead of constantly trying to keep plants from dying. BUT, it rained pretty good yesterday. No signs of runoff

You plan on dying in 12 years my guy?

You’re the one who likes to post without context…
I didn't think I had to say that I was planning on being in another house by that time so it wouldn't be my problem for the new homeowners but here we are.

You just trying to cancel me doggie
