Damn Nature, U Scary

Portuguese man-o-war.
Not the same thing...supposedly, the "blob" is a marine flatworm

The Portuguese man o' war, also known as the man-of-war, bluebottle, or blue bottle jellyfish, is a marine hydrozoan found in the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian Ocean. It is considered to be the same species as the Pacific man o' war, which is found mainly in the Pacific Ocean.

Told my girl I woke up from a dream last night just as a lion was about to chase me out of my grandma's house (I have recurring dreams about lions coming after me).

Then i open up Youtube and see this

That goes to show you how much the big herbivores outweigh the predators. Male lions are the biggest predators in Africa and that baby hippo made the lion look small.

In the Youtube comments the guy who shot it said it wasn't a baby but it was a sub-adult. Makes it more impressive that he took the hippo out relatively easy.
