And miss out on all of those new sign ups that drive income? Closing registrations would be the most logical choice though and probably easiest to do.

Unfortunately this site has lost sight on its initial purpose and sold all the way out to porn and ads. I don’t know why it doesn’t just make the full transition to porn and get it over with.

At this point though it’s accept what is becoming of the site and deal or move on. I’m going to accept it and deal at this point, but probably not for much longer. Either way, this is the last post I’ll be making about it

Naw, that wasnt it.

Short summary: The final straw was when they partnered with another company, Maven I think the name was. They changed the whole forum to where it was unrecognizable and wasnt user friendly at all. I believe this site was created a little before the ic and maven merge. Everyone pretty much left. Some went to blackboard. Goldie and a few others had issues over there with the one in charge. Then this place became flooded with ic immigrants.

Sure that was the final straw but this site already existed long before that. I think at least a year.

Yea. I dont remember anything bout the IC being hacked.

I do remember they kept warning us bout "upcoming changes"...then the merger happened and the site was impossible to navigate. I couldn't even log in.

Like 2 days before the IC went full retard I seen posters talking bout ABW and @Goldie the rest is history
