Would Nicki be in your top 10/top 20 if she was a man?

Guess it depends on what you feel legit constitutes top 10, 20 placings... does hotness matter more than skills, is it about sale success, longevity, lyricists ability, lyrical impact, critical acclaim of the album, etc

Female rappers are looked down upon no matter what. Even if they’re dope, people would suspect a ghostwriter….despite most male rappers having ghostwriters or “helpers” on their songs..

Lil Kim, Missy, and especially Lauren Hill get plenty of love and respect.

If Nicki was a male rapper, she'd be Post Malone.

But most female rappers are immediately seen as having multiple ghostwriters if they reach a certain level of hype..

Nicki being a pop star isn’t seen or regarded as a “pure” MC…even though she can rap her ass off if she wanted to..she just knew how to market herself unlike many other rappers

Where are you getting this bullshit narrative from.

Rappers like Missy, L-boogie, Da Brat and plenty others have never had the ghostwriter tag, at not that I recall.

Nicki got that ghostwriter tag cuz she didn't really dispute it when those claims were made.
