Thats not just a mega issue. That happens on any file hosting site when it comes to copyrighted content.

One thing I do to avoid mega deletions/tos violations is download the mega desktop app to my laptop and sync the folders that I want to keep to my computer. Once they're on my hard drive, they can't be deleted, even if mega deletes it from my cloud. I don't do it for every folder in my mega(half that shit Idc about), but all my favorites(about 300gb worth) are backed up.

Doesn't happen on Google if not shared. Mega will TOS files across any account.
