lol This shit makes me feel old as hell. When I was in elementary school, paddling was still pretty widely practiced where I was from. I got paddled by the principal more than once.

I can't lie though, now it strikes me as weird that people ever did that.

Meh, that's how it was when I came up. Catholic school from preschool through the 4th grade. Kids got outta line and fuckin up and they caught a paddle or yardstick to the ass, then they called home to let your folks know what happened and you prolly got your ass whooped again.

I got paddled in regular school in Lake Charles and in alternative school here

big ass paddles with tape around the handle and holes in the paddle....that way the wind didnt slow the force down

they had this shit worked out where you fucked up, they either paddled you or called your parents.....i got my ass in that loooong paddle line and we all giggled like a mf until it was our turn

this shit seems lightweight but i understand its a different time....also a little girl with her mother right there....they probably shouldnt have done this but im not on no lock em up shit....the kid is fine

Anyway, I don't advocate for this at schools and I know different kids react differently to things. All I can say is that it didn't have any long lasting effects on me. Both times I caught it, I knew it was coming and even I thought I deserved it. lol
