I'm saying that raising the minimum wage in that way won't make much of a difference if not party of a well thought out strategy. I already pointed out how gains from raising the minimum wage alone could be nullified by businesses raising their prices. You can't fix the wage gap without a well thought out and multi-faceted approach.

You and I will never make any headway in this discussion because when I put that list of things up that I think need to be fix. I see them as complex problems that need highly formulated plans where you seem to think little measures here and there are "Satisfactory." I might just be feeling crochety, but I don't know how to address the problem with your thinking without being insulting and I have no desire to insult you. So let's just dead it here.

I never said that simply raising the minimum wage fixes the wealth gap. It does however significantly close that gap. Especially when 4 out of 10 people make less than $15 per hour.

Just because it's not a large whopping gain you can't dismiss it. It's gonna be like that for a lot of things Joe Biden does. If he doesn't shit rainbows and deliver monthly checks to niggas houses they're gonna call him a failure and ignore any change that's being made.

But there is no way that you can just dismiss a $15 minimum wage like it's not a big deal at all. That's life changing for a lot of people.

When I got my first job in in 2007 I was making $5.85 per hour. $5.85. That was 14 years ago. Right now 14 years later that minimum wage is $7.25.

$15 per hour is more than double that. It's life changing for a lot of us. We can't underestimate that.
