Simple question...are black women into adorable men?

Reason for the thread?..I'm on reddit and I see this post that's pretty self explanatory



So in the comments all of the I assume now..I assume..non black women are speaking about how adorable dude is and it's a relationship indicator for them that their man be adorable. Now I assume, cause it made me think.

Not really because if it was then all the things women complain about on social media that they claim to refuse to accept wouldn't actually happen in real life and they'd have alot less to complain about. The social media representative is often who they want people to think they are vs who they actually are.

A better balanced view would bring out that although the black American zeitegeist is not monolithic, there has regardless a popular view popularized by Hollywood as well as US media & arts in North America about nice guys - especially the nerdy type (although not all nerds are like this and the evolution if the Nerd Trope somehow helped to make people understand that) - being perceived like weak, unmanly and thus unfit to protect and smash most women.

And, whether we disagree or not, lower socio-economical classes who are striving in impoverished social environments has always been more receptive to that form of commercial social engineering: whether we're talking about food, society of consumption, sex, romance or relationships. Some negative tropes are still pervasive within the African American community: just around here and on Reddit this week, I've seen niggas who are still taunting and getting mad at nerds and gifted people when they are nerding about academical stuff like Sociology, Sciences, litterature or maths... the last time I've seen that kind of shit at Montreal, I was in the kindergarten and we were still in the 20th century!

Negative views about black nerds are far less communial than it used to be indeed, but they're still there. Donald Glover and Michael B. Jordan prior the peak of their fame were both living examples of this.
