LOL, yea. When he won his 3 defensive player of the year (one of only 3 to do that ever), the eye test and the advance stats really backed up his production. His Orlando teams were not filled with good defensive players, he pretty much single-handedly made them a good defensive team.

He did play with good defenders tho and a defense first coach.
And none of that manifested outside Orlando.

I dunno. I don't consider him an all time defender. He was exciting to watch but he wasn't taking teams out with his d. Theres niggas we've actually seen do that. He wasn't feared.
