Kyrie just don’t want the season to take away from what’s going on now especially when there’s still a risk of getting sick . It’ll draw attention away from the issues now and think about it once you go to Orlando you stay in Orlando so how can you protest and be out in the streets etc and working behind the scenes to help while at Disney world? Then the media will no longer cover this as NBA is on

Sounds like its gonna be a situation where some players might chose to sit but the show will go on.

I actually understand everyones point. Its rare when everyone has a valid point.

I understand Kyrie saying fuck playing a game and entertaining the country when all this shit is happening. Valid point.

I understand Bron saying they can play the games and still highlight the movement and support it. Valid point.

I understand Donovan Mitchell not wanting to play and risk sickness and an injury. Its easy for Kyrie to say hes ready to walk away from the game after he already made enough to build generational wealth. A player like Donovan Mitchell has the potential to change the lives of everyone around him and but never got a big contract yet. Why risk that? Valid point.

And i understand mo bamba saying that young players deserve a voice too. Valid point.
 
I dont want to turn this shit into jokes but Melos whole shit is funny to me. Spent 2 years trying to get back in the league and hes in the lets sit out camp.

It makes sense cause Melos quietly been on the social justice tip for a while but just funny.

Dont bring in conspiracies into this. "They" arent trying to force you to play to silence you.

Theres a valid reason for not playing to protests for social justice. But knowing Kyries history, i dont wanna hear "something smells fishy" from him.

exactly. And in all honesty, black and white America gonna be tuned into the league.. so they will be able to take a stand and voice themselves in front of millions easily.
But I also wonder, how does Kyrie qualify as somebody able to lead this movement, when he couldn’t even be a leader in Boston? Then I also read that all of Kyrie’s questions during the meeting were like, “will I count towards the Nets total players since I can’t play? Can I use the sauna to rehab at Orlando?”
