I think this proves the 80's had a much more original sound, less samples and covers.

The 90's was the era where niggas ran out of ideas and got by- by sampling and making cover songs and albums.

80's had the last dying gasps of disco
80's had the funk
80's had the r&b
80's had the soul

A much broader selection and talent pool to choose from which I tried to show in my choices.

I think the fact that we keep seeing a resurgence of 80's style anything over the 90s should also be proof enough.

80's >>>>>90´s.

Blashphemy!! I wasn't even allowed to use one of the best components of the 90s! And I don't wanna hear that originality shit when one of your songs was a complete rip off of a 70s joint. Im surprised they didn't get sued.

Tell me this isn't the exact same song.

Odyssey - Inside Out

That bass tho...

Brother... I already admitted disco was dead.

So yeah.. What you say could very well be true.

I am playing both at the same time right now and yeah... The melody and tone is the same. You could put the vocals on either song and very little would change.

And I went light lol Around round 6 I realized he was playing random shit so I started posting slept on classics like aaliyah's "hot like fire" , mjb's "love no limit" etc.
