We cant even accurately predict what we ourselves are going to be doing 3 minutes from now, let alone anything a day, week or month in advance. The heart is the best 'indicator' of future events with being able to detect things 3 seconds in advance.

You may not see it this way but from my perspective it is a way the universe would operate if given such a thing has been said. A sorta way to confirm and rebuke as a lesson for him.
