I voted for BT as a vet but as I’ve said before, he’s closer to a legend than the rest of the vets. He’s had hits with the Roots yet they’re few and far between. He’s been apart of great albums. His solo work the last few years has been great. He’s been consistent for over two decades. Maybe it’s cuz he’s never been pushed down niggas throats like the rest of the vets at one point or another. With cookie cutter beats and subject matter.The Roots music in general ain’t for everyone. Yet it’s clear they are legends as a whole & their place in hip-hop can’t be denied.
