What does his crime have to do with him playing in the NFL? If someone serves their sentence that a JUDGE AND JURY have handed down... who are you to say they should have been punished more severely or where they should be able to work once they get out?

I could see if he was applying for a job at a vet office or a kennel or some shit...

You realize there are multiple players that have committed various crimes that are playing in the NFL to this day right?

Then they to should have heavier punishment

I am a dog lover and these sentences for animal cruelty are way to fucking light imo.

You see I’m not looking at it in a black and white perspective but in a all around “FUCK HIM” kinda way.

I never thought you were coming at it from a black and white perspective.. figured you were a dog/animal lover by your response.

In my eyes tho... that man and many other black people(men and women).. just so we dont loose focus... served the time they were given for whatever they did and continue to suffer for it.

White folks are afforded the luxury of "redemption" and we are not. That's the only point I was making

I can’t speak for the many so I won’t but I am speaking on Michael Vick and I can’t even read his name without feeling raged.

It’s just how I feel about his evil ass.
 
This is pretty interesting, actually. Cuz I'm a dog lover myself. And I feel like the man doing 2 years in a federal prison and losing out on millions and millions of dollars having to deal with a lifetime of fuckshit like this is a pretty far punishment.

I don't think I could ever tell someone like @Az that she was WRONG though. If she was like actually calling for the niggas death or life in prison, sure. But as it stands? To each their own.
 
I think the point of the thread is that no matter what the crime is.... across the board... more leniency is shown when the perpetrator is WHITE.. and punishments are more harsh when the perpetrator is BLACK..

and even after they have served their sentence and "payed their debt to society" theres are more hurdles, obstacles and scrutiny put on black folks than their white counterparts

I always hated the "OJ" argument these racists use to justify an unarmed black person killed. They did that with Trayvon Martin.

That's hypocritical since animals are animals. You can have a pet pig and who eat horses?
