My son just got back home from being gone all week and he came in my room and said, "Mama, usually when I come home from my daddy house it's new food in the fridge. Why is there no new food this time?" He just ate!

I thought the eating like a maniac stage starts in the teens.

I let him eat after this. He just asked for food again!
