I will definitely check out your show.

count me as a viewer.......and maybe a background person.
im in santo domingo and boca chica more than punta cana...

were about do yall film in punta cana?
Yes, we film in Punta Cana. I'll be going up to Las Terranas next week. I plan to film in Santa Domingo the first of the year.
Thank you for watching the show. My episode is #3 "All About Bridget"

Will try to check the youtube videos when I get some time to spare.

How did you and your friends manage with the language barrier out there?

I've been here for 10 months and I haven't experienced any racism from Dominicans or Haitians. I've gotten the side eye from a few Canadians. Dominicans and Haitians have a good relationship. There is a handful that don't like each-other but nothing compared to the racism in the US. We did a whole episode about this very topic. Please subscribe to my channel. That episode will be aired in two weeks.

The homes are built of concrete. We got a lot of rain from Hurricane Dorian just a few months ago. But my Hometown Houston, Tx was completely flooded again for the second time in 3 years. And thousands of people lost their home. Punta Cana has not had a direct hit from a Hurricane in over 20 years and the last Tropical Storm didn't not cause any loss of lives. Some homes in the poorer areas in the country were lost.

Sounds like it's been so far, so good for you.
I'd give the place a visit maybe.

The show has a lot better audio when y'all move it inside.
As a man, I don't think I'm your intended audience, though.
Hopefully more ladies chime in on this thread.

One thing a broader audience might be interested in is DR spots to visit.
Clubs, restaurants, dishes, and etc. I'd check in for that.
If ya'll cross into politics and social issues, brace yourselves.
Good luck, I'll subscribe and peek in from time to time.

In Punta Cana the majority of people speak some English. And I speak some Spanish. Shanna speaks excellent Spanish.

We're going to cover ALL ISSUES. But yes it has been good to me. And we are going to have Black Men Living in the DR on the show as guest.

I would love to check out and experience the DR.

@ebonylady what made you and your friends decide to move to the DR?

What's the cost of living like compared to the US?

What are some experiences you had out there that showed you that this would be a good move for Black people in the US?

What are some culture shocks you experienced out there?

What are some similarities in the people and the culture to the US?

Oh that's wassup

Glad to have you here

Let me or any of the staff know if you need anything

We're in Punta Cana. I love it here. I hope you get a chance to watch the show. Episode 3 "All About Bridget" that's me.

I would love to hear more about life thru the eyes of black women living there. I hear about black men all the time.

Like dealing with opening a bank account and what made you choose that bank.

Did you buy or are you renting?

How do you earning your income to sustain your lifestyle? Are you retired or what professions are you in? It's alot of opportunities in punta Cana for black professionals.

The safety side of things. (Please stay safe).

How do you deal with seeing the poverty in certain places?

I have alot of questions since I frequent the island but as a black man. The female side should be interesting.

Can't wait to see it.

If this is about a show, shouldn't it be in Reel Talk?
Eh, it's fine here.

She's promoting her you tube channel and we're all about black Enterprise here, so this is the best place to catch traffic...

As far as the DR, I'm also in no rush to leave from here..... But maybe the video could change others perspective.... It at the least improve tourism.... Those stories over the summer had to be damaging
