if u r in the same state, a weekend a month shld be doable. if y'all communicate frequently in between, it shouldn't feel like a long dist relationship.
if u plan on living together after closing the distance, u might wanna ramp up and/or extend the visits in the run up to it to see if u r compatible as housemates. dont wanna close the distance n find out the other party has habits u just can't deal with.

Forgive my ignorance but how does one be in a relationship with someone they have never met. Again please forgive my ignorance but I don't understand the concept.
The way I did it and explained it in my post.
You communicate with that person everyday all day.
Feelings get involved, you enter a long distance relationship.
Only thing we were missing was physical.
So, I can't say I didn't meet him because I did.
We were on cam 24/7. I just didn't physically meet him til further into the relationship.

So you were in a committed relationship for a while with someone you never physically met? I could not do that but that is very interesting. I think it is different if you are in a relationship and then it becomes a long distance relationship but for it to start that way would be tough.
Wasnt too tough. It was tough at times but overall it was cool.
He had my mental. Physical is needed but once you have my mind, you have me.
The physical can't touch that, it can only make it better.
I mean sex or chilling can be fun but its even better when youre mentally into that person.
I wouldn't recommend anyone who needs the physical that bad do it the way I did it.
Ill never do it that way again, however.

I can't really give you any advice when it comes to LDR's because I haven't really been in one but I truly hope everything works out for you! You deserve nothing but the best

Everything has been mentioned...BUT
If the trust is there and the both of you are mentally prepared...I say go for it.
Hopefully he/she isn't that far away...which will allow the two of you to meet up enough and enjoy each other's company...
Be sure to keep things interesting since most of your interaction will not be in person...
Be sure to be the on same page of what is expected of one another and that needs are being met on both ends...

I appreciate all of your advice....y'all are like my older cousins lol This is my first real relationship since 2014 and on top of that we're long distance until next summer. I'll be posting throughout so keep dropping gems please :)
