Are they gonna put Surf back on? Were they even done with all the rounds? Can Surf even travel?

If he's not on parole or probation he could probably get away with working OT on bail

Sometimes they got "don't go OT" in that paperwork, but they're not on it like a P.O.

I'm sure they were done when he got locked up.

I normally don’t make shyt like this public but today I’m going to so you guys can understand the struggles of running something like KOTD

In 2018, I lost $73,400USD running events.

This isn’t a ‘feel sorry for me’ type post. But more for you guys to understand why last year was slow.

Ganik vs Gully2 was hindered by last minute cancellations that ultimately cost us. 2 of the 6 battles canceled the week of which left no desire for PPV purchases. Unfortunately, KOTD still had to pay for the full event which run at around 17,000 USD Loss.

MASS4 - big event, expensive ass card. With negativity thriving at an all time high around KOTD’s name this is the one that really hurt us. Fans were seemingly convinced that this card was not worth it and it brought in very little PPV sales. After the GvsG loss this one really hurt me. Pushed me into depression as I had no answer it way to get back out. This event ran around a a 23,000 USD loss

Started working a second job to build up capital to throw an event again. Worked for months to acquire funding from the Canadian grant system only to be rejected twice after months of writing which ultimately delayed the Decade event twice. I was furious as the system made to help me failed me after they contacted me to help me, not only did it fail me, it failed me during the most important time in KOTD history, the 10 year anniversary.

Started working on a London event for November 3rd that got cancelled and pushed to Jan 20th & eventually landed on March 3rd 2019.

Decade. Originally planned for August 24th then, October 21st finally landing on December 9th. This was it, swing and hit or go home for good. I had never been in this position before. Didn’t have room for anything to go wrong and well, everything did. Head ICE canceled the day before which lost us the main event title match, therefore giving people more of a reason to not support this card. I was in a full out panic mode and for good reason, it was our lowest selling main event card in KOTD history. I thought that was it.... more people seemed to be jumping on attacking me than helping me. People really wanted me out the way... people I thought were friends were working against me. I had to re evaluate why I was doing this.
This event ran close to a 30,000 USD loss

The one thing decade did, was lose me a lot of money, but gained me a bunch of passion cause I had never been so low in my life.

I’ll finish this another day cause as of right now.... I’m good. Back to being me, back to grinding but thought I’d share this for one reason.

This is the trickle effect of events. When one goes bad in left with less budget for the next. So instead of criticizing and demanding things, take a look around and realize that some of us put our life on the line to do this.

I don’t make statuses asking for praise every time I lose or win, I just do this cause I know it needs to be done.

I may not be the best, I may not be the worst, but I survive and persevere more than all.

From day one to now....

11 year anniversary in 2 days ... I’m just happy to be able to say that.

Salute to the team for helping create the dream #KOTD2K19

Love y’all

KOTD has to start creating new stars. While URL kept bringing in new talent (twork, brizz, chess, etc), KOTD kept relying on old mfs like Thesaurus, Illmac, etc.

I knew they were at rock bottom when ICE became the King of KOTD.

I do agree with what Calicoe and Mook were saying at the top of the faceoff tho, in so many words they said the new Champion co-hosts are clown ass niggas that shouldn't be on the panel.

But shout out to Organik he really built that shit .....hell they introduced PPV to battle rap ....the Grand Prix is still the dopest shit in battle rap to me....may need to reach out to OvO and see about sponsorship....they need to start building new talent.....I ain’t really watch no KOTD shit in a while but I’m rooting for them

Damn this Ace Amin and Snake Eyez shit been going for what seems like yrs.....they need to battle or fight already

7 mins into the face off and blac prolly said about 10 words. That’s how you moderate a face off. I’m lookin at you arp.
