Founder of WorldStarHipHop Found Dead

Lee “Q” O’Denat, the founder and CEO of the massively popular hip-hop website WorldStarHipHop, has died at 43, according to multiple reports, O’Denat died from a heart attack.

O’Denat founded WorldStarHipHop in 2005, as a site where people can download mixtapes. After a few years the site would expand to include a variety of aggregated videos, most notably clips of ratchet girls fight and random funny clips, which turned the phrase “WorldStar” into a battle cry. Within time, WSHH would become the CNN for the hood and hiphop culture and that once little known website became a multiple million dollar company. He changed the game for how entertainment is spread to the masses and will forever be missed. RIP.
