It is clout chasing and let me tell you why. The women afraid to come out are women who dont have a voice. They are regular women that if they told people, the person who did it could get them fired and have their powerful friends not hire them anywhere else in their city. Thats women who are afraid.
But this woman had a voice. She had money and was a somebody who would of had people listen to her. I dont see how you go from being afraid to tell anyone about it for almost 30 years, to posing for cover pictures on big platforms and giving interviews. I also really raised an eyebrow when she said "this is the coat it happened in and this is my first time wearing it since then".

I know and understand all of that. My issues is peoples moral compass keep swaying, they arnt consistent with their opinions at all.

At one point they were on Trump to step down because a porn star came out claiming sexual misconduct and said in 2006 Trump invited her to his hotel room and when she got there he kissed her without her concent and offered her money for sex. Like come on, her job was to have sex for money and shes mad a guy offered her sex for money, like wtf.

If you want to shit on Trump, there is literally plenty of ammo out there. I just dont understand the need to sensationalize stuff thats at most plausible and not absolute fact. Spend more time and effort complaining about his stupid tweet than they do all the money being stolen in Hati & Puerto Rico.

I don't recall anyone askin' for Trump to be impeached for bonin' a prostitute. The thing with Stormy Daniels revealed campaign and finance crimes committed by the Pres and his guys.

This seems a credible accusation so it should be taken seriously.

I agree tho' the mainstream media is very loud about a lotta the light stuff Trump does but don't focus on policy as much as they should

Trump Supporter at NY Post Reportedly Pressured NY Post Into Deleting Story on E. Jean Carroll Sexual Assault Allegations

According to a CNN report, a Trump-supporting former top editor of the New York Post pressured the newspaper into deleting its story about the latest sexual allegations against Donald Trump, from advice columnist E. Jean Carroll.

In its story, CNN reports that Col Allan, a longtime lieutenant of Rupert Murdoch who owns the Post as well as Fox News, ordered the story be scrubbed from the newspaper’s website. Allan is a former editor-in-chief of the Post who left the paper in 2016 but returned earlier this year as an adviser. During the 2016 election, Allan openly supported Trump — proudly wearing a MAGA hat in the newsroom — and is now an occasional golfing partner to the president.

One of the cable network’s sources from the Post said the reason behind such an unprecedented move — to unpublish a story that had no editorial inaccuracies — was obviously political: “Nobody needs to explain why. We already know.”

While the Post’s story has been purged, its digital ghost still shows up in Google searches. But the link — with the original url that mentions the claims against Trump — now sends viewers to a random category page on the Post website.

This pro-Trump revisionism didn’t even spare an Associated Press story about the Carroll allegations that the Post also published. It too was purged from the right-wing newspaper’s website, according to CNN.

Representatives from the Post refused comment when asked about the takedown by CNN, but did not deny the version of events as CNN reported them.

Trump vehemently denies E. Jean Carroll allegation, says 'she's not my type'


President Trump said Monday that writer E. Jean Carroll was “totally lying” when she recently accused him of raping her during an encounter in a New York department store in the mid-1990s.

In an exclusive interview with The Hill, the president vehemently denied the allegations just hours after Carroll detailed the alleged incident during a cable news interview.

“I’ll say it with great respect: Number one, she’s not my type. Number two, it never happened. It never happened, OK?” the president said while seated behind the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office.

Carroll said on CNN that Trump “just went at it” when he allegedly cornered her in a dressing room at Bergdorf Goodman, adding that “he pulled down my tights, and it was a fight.”

She first came forward with her allegations on Friday. Trump denied the allegations in a statement that day and then again while speaking with reporters on Saturday.

When asked if Carroll was lying, Trump on Monday repeated his assertion that he had never met her.

“Totally lying. I don’t know anything about her,” he said. “I know nothing about this woman. I know nothing about her. She is — it’s just a terrible thing that people can make statements like that.”

Carroll's account of the alleged incident was detailed in an excerpt of her forthcoming book published Friday afternoon in New York Magazine. The excerpt included a photo that identified Carroll, Trump, his then-wife, Ivana Trump, and Carroll's then-husband, John Johnson, attending the same party around 1987.

Trump dismissed the photo on Saturday, telling reporters, “Standing with coat on in a line — give me a break — with my back to the camera. I have no idea who she is.”
