Who Are Other Sick Celebs The Media Is Ignoring?

Former Michigan State basketball star Mateen Cleaves was acquitted Tuesday of charges alleging that he sexually assaulted a woman in a motel room four years ago.

Cleaves, 41, had faced charges of second-degree criminal sexual conduct, third-degree criminal sexual conduct, assault with intent to commit sexual penetration and unlawful false imprisonment after a Mount Morris woman in her mid-20s said he raped her at a Mundy Township motel on Sept. 15, 2015.

If convicted, Cleaves could have received a 15-year prison sentence.

A nine-woman, three-man jury deliberated for less than three hours, and Cleaves wailed loudly after the verdict was read.

The jury's verdict touched off cheers that were so loud in the hallway outside Genesee Circuit Judge Celeste D. Bell's courtroom that a sheriff's deputy had to remind the crowd where they were. So Cleaves took his supporters outside and celebrated on the courthouse steps.

"I've been waiting for four years for the truth to come out," Cleaves told the crowd. "I've been ridiculed in newspapers, in the media. ...

"To be portrayed as a rapist, it broke my heart every day. But lying about rape is just as bad."

During the nearly two-week trial, prosecutors had played clips from a surveillance video outside the Knights Inn motel that prosecutors said showed Cleaves, clad only in socks, pulling the near-naked Mount Morris woman back to a motel room twice. They also called a witness, Coleen Dowdall, who said that the woman was crying and hysterical and repeatedly pleaded, "Help me," as she stood in the walkway of the motel.

Defense attorneys Frank and Mike Manley argued that Cleaves and the woman had consensual sex, and that she got into Cleaves' Cadillac SUV willingly. In closing arguments, Mike Manley said the woman had "selective memory" of what went on in Cleaves' vehicle and the motel room and that she lied because she cheated on her boyfriend.

Cleaves met the woman at a charity golf outing at Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club in Grand Blanc, Michigan, and drank at a nearby bar and grill that night with some of her co-workers, including her boyfriend. As the group dispersed around 1 a.m., Cleaves, according to multiple witnesses, suggested they head back to the bar at the golf course.

The woman, who was believed to be intoxicated, rode with Cleaves. But they did not end up at the golf course. He drove her to a gas station, then the Knights Inn motel in Mundy Township. There, the woman said, Cleaves sexually assaulted her.

The woman testified for more than four hours last week. Cleaves did not take the stand.

Juror Michael Lambert said the jury spent about 45 minutes of their deliberation viewing the surveillance video. It didn't sway their verdict. But the jury did notice inconsistencies in her testimony and her original statement, he said.

That nigga got super lucky he got acquitted that video doesn’t look good...

“knows exactly what he’s done”, Virginia Roberts Giuffre said outside a New York court where a succession of women said the disgraced paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein sexually abused them at a young age.
Many lamented that his jailhouse suicide earlier this month had deprived them of the opportunity to obtain justice. It later emerged that he signed a will just two days before his death, placing all his property, worth more than £469m, into a trust, making it harder for victims to claim.

Ms Giuffre has previously alleged in court papers filed in Florida, that she had sex with Prince Andrew “three times”. She said she took part in ”one orgy” in London and one on “his private island in the Caribbean”.

Prince Andrew has repeatedly and strenuously denied the claim that he had sex with Ms Giuffre, who at 17 would have been under the age of consent in Florida.

"The age of consent for sexual activity in the UK is 16. In England and Wales, the age of sexual consent for women has been set at 16 since 1885, when campaigners fought to raise it from 13 to prevent child prostitution. "

But the age of consent if 18 in the Virgin Islands, if the person is more than 5 years older. Makes you really scratch your head at whats going on with some of this.

Jeremy Renner’s Ex-Wife Claims He Threatened to Murder Her and Kill Himself, Firing a Gun Into the Ceiling

Avengers star Jeremy Renner allegedly talked about murdering his ex-wife Sonni Pacheco before killing himself, according to legal documents reported on by TMZ.

TMZ reported on Monday that the actor “was coked up and drunk when he began rhapsodizing about killing his ex-wife Sonni, and the night ended with the actor shoving a gun in his mouth and threatening to kill himself,” citing “claims” from his ex-wife “in new legal docs.”

Renner allegedly declared that he “could not deal with her anymore, and he just wanted her gone,” because “it was better that Ava had no parents than to have [Sonni] as a mother.”

The actor then allegedly “threatened to kill himself, and fired the gun into the ceiling” while his daughter Ava, who is currently at the center of a custody dispute, “was asleep in her bedroom.”

Alleged text messages between Renner and his ex-wife were also posted by TMZ.

In one message, Renner declared, “YOUR. Family is touched by the bi polar disorder. I only pray that unfortunate gene isn’t passed to our baby.”

In a statement, a spokesman for Renner claimed, “The well-being of his daughter Ava has always been and continues to be the primary focus for Jeremy. This is a matter for the court to decide. It’s important to note the dramatizations made in Sonni’s declaration are a one-sided account made with a specific goal in mind.”

Prince Andrew has new reaction to accusations from former-teen Epstein accuser

The Duke of York tells BBC he does not recall meeting Virginia Giuffre

You've seen the picture: Virginia Roberts Giuffre posing with Prince Andrew's arm around her bare waist when she was a teenager. Giuffre says Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell forced her into sex with The Duke of York more than once - something he has always strenuously denied. Now in a BBC interview, Prince Andrew has a different answer.

Emily Maitlis says in the interview: "She says she met you in 2001, she says she dined with you, danced with you at Tramp nightclub in London. She went on to have sex with you in a house in Belgravia belonging to Ghislaine Maxwell, your friend. Your response?"

"I have no recollection of ever meeting this lady, none whatsoever," said Prince Andrew.

"You don't remember meeting her?" asked Maitlis.

"No," he answered.

The Duke of York also said he regrets remaining friends with Epstein, even visiting him at his New York mansion after Epstein's Florida conviction for having sex with minors.

Andrew told the BBC it was not behavior befitting a member of the royal family.

"We try to uphold the highest standards and practices and I let the side down, its as simple as that," Andrew said.

Epstein continued to move in his wealthy elite circles even after his conviction and release from jail in 2009. He was allowed to fly on his private jet from his Palm Beach mansion to New York while he was supposed to be one year of community control.

And he didn't give up trying to get more special treatment.

Newly released internal documents from the Palm Beach County State Attorney's Office reveal Epstein's lawyer tried to cut short his already lenient probation, much to the amazement of the prosecutor.

Barbara Burns wrote to then-State Attorney Michael McAuliffe: "this dragon just keeps raising it's ugly head!...I don't know how to convey to him anymore than I already have that his client is a registered sex offender that was fortunate to get the deal of the century,"

McAuliffe concurred with Burns that Epstein needed to finish out his community control as ordered.

The investigation into Epstein's apparent suicide while awaiting new sex trafficking charges in New York continues.

Two jail guards turned down plea deals, according to people familiar with the situation.

That signals the government is moving forward with criminal charges in the case of Epstein's death while in his cell.

While the medical examiner has ruled his death a suicide, many people remain convinced something much more nefarious occurred, including Epstein's brother and a noted forensic medical examiner he hired as a second opinion, who believe Epstein was killed.

Pirates P Vazquez facing 21 new charges

The felony charges filed Tuesday in Westmoreland County include 10 counts of child pornography, 10 counts of unlawful contact with a minor and one count of corruption of a minor.

Vazquez, 28, was already facing multiple felony charges in both Pennsylvania and Florida alleging sexual contact with a 13-year-old girl. He was originally arrested in September by Pennsylvania State Police on a warrant issued by authorities in Florida.

According to court documents, a search of his iPhone XS and Apple MacBook Pro led to Tuesday’s additional charges. Police found seven photographs and three videos of a girl “in various stages of nudity,” wrote Trooper Michael Thompson in the criminal complaint.

Vazquez is also facing multiple charges in Lee County, Fla., involving the same accuser.

The judge on Tuesday denied Florida’s request for extradition.

“He will stay until the charges are disposed of in this county,” Westmoreland County Common Pleas Court Judge Rita Hathway said, per The Tribune-Review.

Vazquez is being held without bail in the Westmoreland County Prison.

Major League Baseball placed Vazquez on administrative leave in September under its joint domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse policy.
