Breh, most ppl care if someone is a molester. They're just able to separate the art from the artists personal lives.
No one's sitting there envisioning R Kelly pissing on underage girls when they listen to ignition remix ffs (I hope not anyway
). The music stands by itself. The voice distilled in harmless soundwaves (so long as ur not listening to it at 120 decibels). And it's all often wrapped up in nostalgic memories.
You can't just deny a groove that infectious enough to engage ur body on an instinctive level (head bop, dancing etc). For me anyway, the emotional impact is far too great. If ur principled enough to not listen, cool. It'd make more sense to just not buy their art. I'll pirate it all day so a sick cunt doesn't get a dime from me.
