Story probly woulda been better if it was inspired by Dahomey and other female warrior tribes rather than about the Dahomey itself.

I agree with this. The story that the movie told is a dope story, and I wish it was the true story. Everyone in the film was great. I watch a lot of Nollywood and other African films and loved seeing some familiar actors like Jimmy Odukoya and Thuso Mbedu getting some shine.

This movie was really good! All the hate had me brainwashed into thinking it was going to be trash so I avoided it until now.
