You can't do that shit against a power striker. You would think she should know that with as much experience as she has. It always perplexes me when striking specialists get beat on their feet. I could see if Amanda was mixing in shoots and submission attempts and had Holly confused, but Amanda just beat her ass in pure striking.

I think it's instinct. You make a good point about the rock, paper, scissors of it though. Just remember, there have been times when strikers have chosen the paper and tried to run up and punch a wrestler. In that case, the shoot works. That's the fight game for you.
 
I wish Jones wasn't such a piece of shit. I used to be a fan of him, and I still want to be a fan, but as a person he rus me the wrong way. I still don't want to see him lose though. His greatness in the octagon can't be denied.
 
Yo, Jones should lose that shit. There is no reason the dude with the bum leg should be the one putting forth the better offense.
 
Maaaaan great fight. Was close af. Santos is a fucking beast. The fact either of them made it through all 5 rounds is crazy
 
Jones had a lot of respect for Santos power. A bit too much respect but in the end Jones did what he had to do. He didn't take any risks, played it safe and won the fight. Not a spectacular fight but he's winning.

Who's next for Jones..... I know he's still injured but a lot of people want to see Johnny Walker vs Jones. Walker is fun to watch but I don't know if he's ready.
