Kind of hard to listen to.

He hasn't given out a lot of details, but his sister was murdered.

Sad situation all the way around.

This is deep but it goes by a lot of people.

real shit was spoken.
Thanks for this drop.
glad to know it’s a few others that get my point.

Had a feeling it would resonate with you.

We can talk about white supremacy, police brutality, systemic racism, etc. all we want..........but we can't ignore the issues in our community that we're directly responsible for.

Dudes don’t understand that black ppl get shot days after fighting for equal justice and treatment for black people.

That's all well and good as long as people acknowledge that they aren't completely separate issues. Like how when money to public schools in black areas of cities get diverted away and sent to white areas for no good reason and, as a result, extracurricular activities at schools get cut, violence among black youth tends to rise.

All true.
But we cant fix our own issues

why do we keep depending on white people to save us?
You do know.....it’s quite a bit of black people who relocate because of crime and wanting their child to have better education and be safe.
If more mfs took the time to see what black people truly are..,..what we are capable of and the place we are in....outside of shitty cops...it’s not much reason to worry about what they do for us because rich and poor would build the community automatically.

True.

They're not completely separate issues.

However, more often than not, we don't give ourselves enough credit for having as much control over our lives as we actually do.
