What has you confused lol?
How if Rufus was such a evil muhfucka the whole time, how could he just let Nat kill him without even putting up a fight?

Muhfucka just sat in his office and waited for Nat to come up, just to tell him he’s Nat’s brother, and that Nat should get to take his revenge.

It would’ve make sense that they had a brawl, Nat got the better of Rufus, Rufus catches one bullet in the chest, and while Rufus lay dying, THEN he’d tell Nat the truth about why he killed “their” father, before telling Nat to finish him off.

It was all so…anti-climatic.

Dude, the film dropped over a month ago. No need to use the spoiler tag

He let Nat do that because as he said he just couldn't kill him even when he was younger. Rufus saw the potential and Nat that's why he mentioned he'd be better than him. He was pretty much ready to die and NL was the only one he saw fit worthy to end it all.

Basically he was proving a point that he was better than his brother and better than his father. As bad as he was, he knew he'd find redemption if his brother killed him
