Queen of the dammed had some of the best visuals of all time.

Blended with the music, it was great.

They just rushed too much story.

There has been talk of a vampire chronicle series on HBO or Netflix or something like that for years...

It's like a 20 book series.... So naturally Anne an Chris Rice are being very protective about who gets the rights.... They want it to be as big as walking dead or game of thrones...

Which the stories are definitely good enough. But it depends on who handles it.....

Interview of a vampire was the book almost perfectly. So there is no reason to start there.

An while qotd was a cool movie... It smashes together 2 very large books and changed a shit load..... Those books could easily be translated into a season long Akasha arc.

But Aaliyah was iconic in that role. She looked the part so much it was crazy.

I don't have a #1

Queen of the Damned
Vampires
Blade 1
Dracula Untold
Underworld - though they should have went a completely different direction for the series
Byzantium
Let the Right One In(Swedish version)

I went with Dracula but there are no wrong answers in that list...well Vampire in Brooklyn is a wrong answer.

Also the original Underworld deserves some love.
The practical effects and costumes for Vamps and werewolves are severely underrated
