Nah.

1) It's a proven awards magnet and networks are whores for awards.

2) Doesn't really cost much to produce at all especially with the tax breaks.

3) Being "woke" and "aware" although lifelong common sense for a lot of people of color has become more viral and trendy than ever thanks to PC influence. For the first time in western society it's trendy to claim black ancestry and to speak on black plights. Everybody no matter the actual race is either doing it or enabling it and thus it's very marketable for white tv execs.
